Millwall have signed Liverpool defender Zak Whitbread on a two-year deal for a fee which will eventually rise to £200,000 based on appearances for the League One side.
The USA born centre-half spent a spell on-loan with the Lions last season and has now made the move permanent.
The 22-year-old told the club’s official website: ‘I really enjoyed myself last season at Millwall and I just felt that this was absolutely the right move for me.’
