It’s another massive match for the Reds as they travel to Stamford Bridge to face our new foes Chelsea and their ‘all star’ line up.
The Blues go into the game on the back of a 2-0 Champions League victory in midweek, while the Reds held PSV 0-0 in Eindhoven on Tuesday.
This fixture last year ended in a 2-0 home win but Liverpool will be hoping to repeat the last time the two sides met – in the Charity Shield last month when Momo Sissoko dominated the midfield in a Red victory at the Millennium Stadium.
Liverpool last won at the Bridge in 2004, under Gerard Houllier, courtesy of Bruno Cheyrou’s goal.
