It’s back to the Premiership as the Reds travel to Craven Cottage on Saturday to face relegation threatened Fulham. It’s the final away game of the season for Liverpool – except for the Champions League Final on May 23rd…
FULHAM have no fresh injury concerns ahead of tomorrow’s Barclays Premiership clash with Liverpool at Craven Cottage.
Defenders Franck Queudrue (ankle) and Ian Pearce (calf) remain in the treatment room and will be unavailable. Midfielders Jimmy Bullard (knee), Mark Pembridge (calf) and Simon Elliott (calf) are long-term absentees.
Steven Gerrard is almost certain to be left out of Liverpool’s side, having also been rested at Portsmouth last weekend.
The Anfield skipper could join a host of absentees, with John Arne Riise, Steve Finnan, Jamie Carragher and Jose Reina expected to be rested again with the Champions League Final later this month.
Italian Under-21 goalkeeper Daniele Padelli could make his debut, with teenage Argentinian full-back Emiliano Insua – who made his debut at Fratton Park – getting another outing.
