Title race: Back ON!

The Premier League title race is back on after Man United‘s defeat at Fulham on Saturday afternoon.

It’s been a hell of a week for Liverpool so far, and a win against Aston Villa on Sunday will now put them within a point of United, albeit they will still have a game-in-hand again then.

United not only lost at Craven Cottage, they had Paul Scholes and Wayne Rooney both sent off! Meaning Scholes, Rooney and Nemanda Vidic will be suspended when they face Villa next week.

Former Red Danny Murphy scored the opener from the penalty spot after Scholes had handled on the line. And Zoltan Gera made it two with ten minutes to go.

Another ex-Red also enjoyed a good day – Peter Crouch scoring twice as Portsmouth came from behind to win 2-1 against Everton.

And the day was made even better with Chelsea losing 1-0 at Tottenham in the delayed kick-off!
