Glasgow Rangers have confirmed Liverpool’s interest in their 18 year old defender Danny Wilson.
Rangers chief executive Martin Bain said on Friday “Liverpool have expressed an interest but a lot of clubs are keeping abreast of Danny’s situation.”
The 6ft 1 left sided centre back has a year left on his contract and is attracting interest from numerous clubs south of the border.
Wilson has made 22 first team appearances for Rangers after establishing himself in the side this season, including two Champions League group games. He has been called up by the Scottish under 21’s but is yet to make his international bow. He scored his first goal for the club against Hearts last week (see the video below).
