Yossi Benayoun has left Liverpool for Chelsea, signing in at Stamford Bridge on a three year deal.
A Liverpool club spokesman said, “Yossi’s departure was agreed between the player and Rafael Benitez a number of weeks ago. Everybody at Liverpool FC wishes him well for the future.”
It is understood Liverpool will receive around £5million for his sale, which was confirmed on Friday afternoon.
Benayoun scored 37 goals in 172 appearances in all competitions for the Reds.
