Albert Riera has completed his move to Olympiacos, signing a four year deal with the Greek side.
A statement on the Olympiacos website confirmed the transfer this evening.
The 28 year old left winger has been outcast at Anfield since his outburst at former manager Rafa Benitez earlier in the year. The Spaniard was suspended following his comments, criticising Benitez and calling the club “a sinking ship”.
The deal is worth a potential £5m, with £3.3m up front and £1.7m in related bonuses.
Riera arrived at Anfield in September 2008 for £8m. He made 56 appearances in total, scoring 5 times. His last appearance was against Lille in March.
