A new look for This Is Anfield

Over the past few days you will have no doubt noticed a few changes around the site as we implemented a new design for This Is Anfield.

It’s been a while since we gave the site a makeover so hopefully you like the changes we’ve made. We’ve tried not to completely overhaul the place and the main layout remains the same, albeit with the navigation now horizontal in the header.

The reason for the change of navigation is to enable us to implement a site-wide header that is consistent in all areas as we will eventually implement that into the forums and Kopblog.

We’ve also tidied up the news and opinion pages, and hopefully now the site will load even faster than before.

There’s some new stuff too. The new history section will be featuring plenty of Liverpool FC related memories, with input from Ste Speed, Keith Perkins and Liverpudlian complimenting work by Broomy.

Other features you may have missed in the past include the new book review section (more being added shortly) and our archived interviews (stay tuned for an exclusive with John Aldridge soon).

We have also provided a new mobile version of the site and will be launching a TIA App for iPhones and Android’s soon.

Over the next few weeks we’ll be making improvements to the forums and updating the club info and player profiles section of the site.

Finally, there’s an improved comment system on opinion and feature articles. Please keep your comments specific to the content of the article, not general LFC discussion.

Let us know what you think of the new look in the comments below.
