Pepe Reina will make his 300th appearance for Liverpool tonight as the Reds aim to overturn a 1-0 defecit to Portguese side Braga at Anfield.
The 28-year-old shotstopper reaches the milestone amidst praise from his boss Kenny Dalglish.
“In my opinion Pepe Reina is one of, if not the, best keeper in the world,” said Dalglish. “I know he doesn’t get in his national side, but if it’s my opinion you’re asking for that would be my shout.
“He has been fantastic for this football club and is a great asset to us.
“That is reflected in that if Stevie or Carra are not playing, he is our captain.”
Liverpool vs Braga gets underway at 8.05pm tonight.
