Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish says captain Steven Gerrard‘s operation on his troublesome groin injury was successful and the midfielder is already on a rehabilitation programme.
Gerrard is expected to be ruled out of action until around mid-April after undergoing the operation last week. He will miss several Premier League and Europa League fixtures.
“Steven has had his operation and he feels good,” said Dalglish. “He has started his rehabilitation already.”
