Liverpool have been handed a boost with injury news ahead of this Thursday’s Europa League tie against Braga at Anfield.
Daniel Agger and Jonjo Shelvey have both resumed light training after injury. Shelvey was originally thought to be out for 12 weeks, whilst Agger has been struggling for the last month or so.
Reds boss Kenny Dalglish told the club’s official website, “Daniel Agger is improving. He is back training. Jonjo is back training as well.
“Daniel is closer than Jonjo.”
Meanwhile Dalglish also said that Martin Kelly and Fabio Aurelio are on track from recovering from injury.
He added, “Fabio and Martin are doing a little bit but haven’t joined in with too much exercise yet,” said Dalglish. “They are all progressing.”
