Serie A side Bolgona’s vice-president Maurizio Setti claims their is “a real chance” that Uruguayan midfielder Gaston Ramirez could join Liverpool in January.
Ramirez has been linked with a move to Merseyside this week, although Setti claims no contact has yet been made over the attacking midfielder.
“We’ll see about Ramirez joining Liverpool. There’s certainly a real chance,” said Setti in relation to the €10 million-rated player.
“Even if, at the moment, they [Liverpool] haven’t called us.”
Ramirez, 20, would join fellow Uruguay internationals Luis Suarez and Sebastien Coates if he were to join Liverpool.
