Liverpool are not pursuing the signing of Croatian international striker Nikica Jelavic, despite claims from the Rangers striker’s father expecting him to complete a move to Anfield.
But the Reds are not thought to be ready to launch a bid for the 26-year-old, who would cost in the region of £8million.
It is understood that West Ham, QPR and Fulham are all interested in signing Jelavic, with Liverpool focussing elsewhere on bolstering their attacking options.
