Sebastian Coates opened his goalscoring account for Liverpool tonight with an incredible scissor kick from 10 yards out to open the scoring during the Reds’ 3-2 defeat to QPR at Loftus Road.
Coates appeared as a first half substitute after an injury to Martin Kelly. Nine minutes into the second half the Uruguayan smashed home from close range for an incredible first goal for the club.
Dirk Kuyt added a second for Liverpool, but the Reds went on to concede three goals in the final 13 minutes and lost 3-2 to the relegation candidates.
