Norwich 0-3 Liverpool: Suarez does the trick

Norwich City 0-3 Liverpool
Premier League; 28th April 2012

Luis Suarez scored a stunning hat-trick to defeat Norwich 3-0. The Uruguayan scored two inside 4 minutes mid-way through the first-half then capped it with an unbelievable lob from 50 yards – not a bad way to get your first hat-trick for LFC!

The first was assisted by Steven Gerrard finished with his left foot, the second was a solo run down the right with a powerful finish across goal, and the third was incredible as he lobbed John Ruddy from 55 yards.

Liverpool should have won by more in all honesty, Jonjo Shelvey hit the bar and almost slid in from close range, and Suarez should have capped his hat-trick earlier after he nutmegged a defender but his cheeky chip attempt didn’t quite come off on that occasion.
