Liverpool have enquired about FC Twente’s Dutch forward Luuk De Jong, according to Dutch media.
A report in De Telegraaf claims Liverpool and Newcastle have both enquired about the 21 year old.
The Dutch international could be available for around £12m according to numerous reports. He has been in fine form this season with 28 goals in 43 appearances.
De Telegraaf also report that Kenny Dalglish and chief scout Steve Hitchen travelled to Feyenoord on Sunday to watch AZ Alkmaar midfielder Rasmus Elm in action. The 24 year old Swede is being lined up for an £8m move to Anfield this summer.
