As reported earlier today on This Is Anfield, Liverpool’s move for Icelandic international Gylfi Sigurdsson is hotting up after the 22-year-old opened the door to a move to Anfield.
The tall attacking midfielder has won 7 caps for his country, and had a spell at several English clubs including Reading and Crewe.
He spent the last half of lasts season on loan at Swansea City, impressing the now departed (to Liverpool) manager Brendan Rodgers.
He was close to agreeing a £6.8million move to the Liberty Stadium, before Rodgers switched to Anfield.
