Liverpool have been drawn against Scottish side Hearts in the Europa League play-off round.
The first leg will take place at Tynecastle on 23 August, just three days before the Reds’ first home game of the season against Manchester City.
The return leg at Anfield a week later is three days before another huge home game, against Arsenal.
The winners of the tie progress to the Europa League group stages.
