One of the many bright spots from last night’s defeat of West Brom in the League Cup was the lively performance of winger Oussama Assaidi.
The Moroccan winger arrived at Anfield from Heerenveen for £2.5m in August and is now getting up to fitness. His performance at the Hawthorns has pushed him into contention for the trip to Norwich on Saturday with Fabio Borini out with injury.
