Luis Suarez’s 76th minute goal almost sparked Liverpool back to life from two goals down against Swansea City in the League Cup at Anfield on Wednesday night.

As it was, the Reds pressured forward, leaving vulnerable holes at the back which the visitors exploited to add a third and dump Brendan Rodgers’ Reds out of the League Cup at the fourth round stage.
