Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to discuss and welcome the two recently confirmed signing of Luis Alberto and Iago Aspas to Anfield.
Alberto passed a medical on Friday night, before his £6.8million switch from Sevilla being confirmed by the club on Saturday, whilst the official paperwork went through on Aspas’ deal to complete his £7million move from Celta Vigo.
Both players play in an attacking role and will bring a new dimension to Brendan Rodgers’ team and offensive options, as explained in a recent column from This Is Anfield editor Matt Ladson.
Here are just a few of the things fans’ had to say about the signings and how they see the Spaniards fitting into Rodgers’ plans:

@thisisanfield Both will be a squad player unless Suarez leaves. Alberto is talented & has a good future ahead. Aspas – creative.

@thisisanfield encouraging signings. I think Rodgers will now focus more on a system without wingers. The Downing Assaidi era is over

Impressive to bring in Aspas, Toure, Alberto & Mignolet already. Squad depth already healthier. Now on to the bigger targets. C'mon #LFC
