Melbourne is gripped with Liverpool fever ahead of the pre-season match against local side Melbourne Victory on Wednesday.
The Liverpool squad trained at the world famous Melbourne Cricket Ground on Tuesday evening, with 15,000 fans watching the practice.
Wednesday’s match (11am kick off in UK) will be the largest ever crowd Liverpool FC will have played in front of, with 95,000 tickets having been sold. The match is the first time the Reds played in Australia.
Across the city, hundreds of fans attended a special evening with former Liverpool player Craig Johnston, organised by The Anfield Wrap.
