The pair replace the injured Joe Allen and Mamadou Sakho, who both picked up injuries during Liverpool’s 2-1 defeat at Chelsea last month.

Captain Steven Gerrard is named amongst the substitutes today for the first time since picking up a hamstring injury during Liverpool’s 4-1 victory over West Ham in December.

Liverpool: Mignolet, Johnson, Cissokho, Skrtel, Agger, Lucas, Henderson, Coutinho, Aspas, Sterling, Suarez.

Substitutes: Jones, Rossiter, Kelly, Toure, Moses, Alberto, Gerrard.

Liverpool go into today’s game sitting fifth in the Premier League table. Victory could take them ahead of Everton and into fourth, with the Toffees playing away to Stoke City this afternoon.

Liverpool vs Hull gets underway at 3pm and is not live on TV in the UK.
