The club has confirmed that Ojo will join Wigan until the end of the season, in order to get more first-team opportunities.

The 17-year-old former MK Dons youth product is arguably the Reds’ most exciting teenage prospect currently, and was recently named in the first-team squad for the first time for the clash with Burnley in December.

Jones’ exit was also confirmed by Liverpool, with the 19-year-old extending his current stay at Cheltenham Town until the end of the current campaign.

The centre-back joined Liverpool for £20,000 from Plymouth Argyle in 2011, and impressed greatly. Brendan Rodgers named him on the substitutes’ bench for the Reds’ Premier League game with Fulham in May 2013, but he is yet to make his senior debut.

The Mirror, meanwhile, claims that McLaughlin is also set to move away from Merseyside until the summer, with Rotherham United his likely destination.

The 20-year-old right-back spent part of last season on loan at Barnsley, and has won two caps for Northern Ireland, having also appeared for them in the Under 16s, 17s, 19s and 21s.
