Video: Brendan Rodgers: I remember when Wembley was known as ‘Anfield South’

Watch Brendan Rodgers discuss Liverpool’s return to Wembley for the FA Cup semi final on Sunday, recalling Liverpool’s last success in the competition when Steven Gerrard hit a stunning goal against West Ham in 2006.

“This is a club that is based on winning trophies,” said Rodgers. “Wembley was somewhere that used to be known as ‘Anfield South’ many years ago, Liverpool used to visit Wembley so much.”

Rodgers also speaks about opponents Aston Villa and noting their pace on the counterattack, with Garbiel Agbonlahor and Christian Benteke up front.
