Steven Gerrard remains in central midfield after scoring the winner at Anfield, whilst Adam Lallana continues his role at the expense of benched teenager Jordon Ibe and Rickie Lambert serves as Liverpool’s lone striker.
18-year-old striker Jerome Sinclair takes up a place on the substitutes’ bench after returning from a loan spell with Wigan Athletic.
Chelsea have named Academy midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek in their starting line-up, while former Liverpool target Loic Remy starts up front.
