After Liverpool hammered Aston Villa 6-0 on Sunday afternoon, we round up how the Reds reacted across their social media accounts.
Liverpool have enjoyed a number of good trips to Villa Park in recent seasons, but Sunday’s was the best of the lot as Jurgen Klopp’s side romped to a stunning 6-0 victory.
It was a much-needed three points and confidence boost that couldn’t have been better timed ahead of the re-opening of the all-important Europa League campaign and with the League Cup final looming,
A dominant performance from the first whistle was capped off by a blistering attacking display, with goals from Daniel Sturridge, James Milner, Emre Can, Divock Origi, Nathaniel Clyne and Kolo Toure sending the travelling Kopites home delighted.
The joy from a thoroughly deserved and hugely impressive win prompted those that instigated it to express their delight en masse post-match.
Very efficient! 6 goals & solid defensively, we have to try to do this consistently! #YNWA #happyredvalentinesday https://t.co/95KekTTUBr
