The Reds’ boss was asked about a number of topics – including his thoughts on a potential European Super League. Klopp’s reaction to the question is priceless.
Questions then mostly revolve around Liverpool’s search for consistency and push for a top four finish, with Klopp saying again that “We must stay angry”. The boss says that consistency has not been our “hobby” so far this season – with Liverpool not winning three league games in a row yet.
Klopp spoke about the need to be focussed, and hinted that he hoped that was more possible now with two tournaments to compete in, saying: “This is a big chance for us, we have to try everything to take it.”
The manager also provides an injury update, with Lucas Leiva‘s injury revealed to be far worse than first anticipated and ruling him out for five to six weeks.
Mamadou Sakho could return vs. Palace, while Daniel Sturridge trained as normal on Thursday.
Crystal Palace vs. Liverpool kicks off at 1.30pm GMT on Sunday.
