Benteke starts – Confirmed Liverpool lineup vs. Watford

Liverpool are in Premier League action against Watford at Anfield this afternoon, with Jurgen Klopp naming a much-changed side.

There’s eight changes in total from the side that started on Thursday, with only Simon Mignolet, Alberto Moreno and Philippe Coutinho remaining from the side that started against Villarreal.

Mignolet continues in goal, with Danny Ward having picked up an injury in the warm-up before Thursday’s Europa League game.

In defence, Jon Flanagan comes in at right-back, with Martin Skrtel and Lucas Leiva – who captains the side – at centre-back. Moreno continues at lef-back with Brad Smith suspended.

In midfield, Joe Allen and Kevin Stewart come in.

Wingers Jordon Ibe and Sheyi Ojo again come back into the side, with Coutinho remaining in attack.

Up front, Christian Benteke gets his first start in the league since January 2nd.

Liverpool: Mignolet, Flanagan, Skrtel, Lucas, Moreno, Allen, Stewart, Ibe, Ojo, Coutinho, Benteke.

Subs: Bogdan, Toure, Firmino, Sturridge, Brannagan, Randall, Chirivella.

Watford: Gomes; Cathcart, Britos, Prödl, Anya; Abdi, Suarez, Watson, Jurado; Deeney, Ighalo.
