Following Liverpool’s 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Anfield on Wednesday, we bring you the best social media reaction to the game.
The Reds were far from their vintage best against the Blues, with next Wednesday’s Europa League final against Sevilla clearly in the back of the players’ minds.
Eden Hazard scored a brilliant solo effort to give Chelsea a half-time lead, but Christian Benteke’s stoppage-time header earned Jurgen Klopp‘s men a point.
Liverpool end their Premier League campaign away to West Brom on Sunday, before their aforementioned season-defining clash with Sevilla three days later.
Here is how supporters reacted to the draw at Anfield.
My word there were some bad performances out there tonight ? well done Sheyi Ojo after coming on. Nice to not lose last home game…!

Flat atmosphere and performance but we certainly didn't deserve to lose. Equaliser a gift but one you'll take all day against those bastards

Very few positives there. Benteke positioned himself well for the goal, something he hasn’t done that often this season. Ojo got another assist, I think that’s either 3 in 4 games or 4 in 5 games. Toure and Allen have passion, something the rest of the team really need.

Benteke on 10 goals, not bad for a 'flop' at all. Wrong player for #LFC mind.

So much is made of Moreno's defensive shortcomings, but I really don't think he's offering close to enough in the attacking third.

Benteke now has a goal or assist every 151 minutes for Liverpool. Not bad at all considering his reputation this season.

Amazing how we can be so great and so poor. It's all about Basel. But the main factor this season, is that we have Jurgen Klopp. Win or lose

Exciting. Passionate. Skilful. Transcendent…are all words that nobody in their right mind would use to describe that performance.

Blah. Work to do ahead of the final.

In the grand scheme of things that game doesn't matter one bit. Chelsea are still below us and we have a final to go to! YNWA

We didn’t start playing until Allen and Benteke came on. And we livened up after Ojo came on. Only took all of 80 minutes for us to even look like we knew what we were doing.

Liverpool have scored 5 league goals after the 90th minute this season; more than any other side.

In Benteke's last 185 minutes, has scored three and assisted one. That includes two winners. pic.twitter.com/16SBEXjvg1
