Liverpool have been drawn to play Championship side Leeds United in the League Cup quarter final.
Jurgen Klopp‘s side reached the last eight with a 2-1 win over Tottenham at Anfield on Tuesday night, while Leeds qualified by beating Norwich City on penalties.
The two sides haven’t faced each other since 2009 – also in the League Cup. Leeds‘ last visit to Anfield was in the Premier League in 2003.
Liverpool are seeking to reach the final for a second consecutive season, having lost to Man City in the final in February.
The game will take place on either 29th or 30th November. Liverpool play Sunderland (h) the weekend before and Bournemouth (a) the weekend after.
