Rafa Benitez continues to show is class and respect for the city, seven years after leaving Liverpool FC.
Now manager at Newcastle United, Benitez and his family still live on the Wirral and the Spaniard continues to show his support for the Hillsborough families at every opportunity he can.
This weekend the 57-year-old again attended the ‘Run For The 96’ in Stanley Park – an event held each year with a 5k run around the park between Anfield and Goodison.
Once spotted at the start line, fans asked for photos of autographs from the Champions League winning manager and soon an orderly queue formed, with Rafa obliging to take the time to meet everyone who wanted to say hello or get a selfie.
