Liverpool Ladies have enjoyed a good start to their ‘Spring Series’ campaign and made it three consecutive games scoring four goals in each with a 4-4 draw against Arsenal.
The Reds had enjoyed 4-1 and 4-2 wins over Yeovil and Reading respectively in their opening two games and continued the entertainment with a 4-4 draw at Arsenal on Thursday night.
Captain Gemma Bonner headed a late equaliser to ensure the Ladies occupy top spot – although Chelsea have a game in hand now.
Liverpool, in toxic thunder, had been 3-1 up at half-time until Arsenal hit three goals after the break to go 4-3 up.
Not so sure about the quality of that second goal for Liverpool!
