Liverpool were excellent on Saturday afternoon, as Jurgen Klopp‘s side cruised to a 5-1 Premier League win away to Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Reds had found some form ahead of the game, but the trip to the Amex Stadium looked a tricky one, considering the Seagulls had only lost once there in the league this season.

Jurgen Klopp made six changes to the side that won 3-0 at Stoke City, and supporters were left shocked at him using both Emre Can and Gini Wijnaldum in defence, in a 3-4-3 formation.

It was an authoritative performance from minute one, however, and not only was Can impressing at the back, but he also headed Liverpool into a 1-0 lead in imperious fashion.

Barely a minute later, Roberto Firmino finished off a delightful move involving Mohamed Salah and Philippe Coutinho, as the visitors enjoyed themselves on the south coast.

It was Coutinho who stole the show, though, producing an incredible individual performance full of creativity and influence.

His free-kick made it 4-1, and caused Lewis Dunk’s own goal in the dying stages.
