Jamie Carragher to headline charity fundraiser for Fire Fighters Charity

Jamie Carragher will headline an event to raise money for the Fire Fighters Charity in Liverpool on Thursday night.

The Fire Fighters Charity is entering its 75th year, supporting injured firefighters all over Britain that have suffered physical and mental health issues, and sadly with firefighters having to work under more and more strain, these injuries are becoming more and more common.

The night is in association with Carragher’s 23 Foundation, which do a brilliant job in supporting so many people in need, not just on Merseyside but also further afield, giving poorly kids the chance to go to the Liverpool matches, and much more.

Thursday’s event will see Carragher chatting with BBC’s Richard Askem, and impressionist Darren Farley will be providing further entertainment.

* Tickets for Thursday’s event are completely sold out, but you can donate via this link, and we’ll have a live stream on the evening.
