From the group stage which required late winners and last-gasp saves, to the knockout rounds which took Jurgen Klopp’s men to the cusp of a semi-final exit, the Reds’ road to Madrid has been anything but straightforward.

And it’s a journey perfectly showcased by BT Sport’s No Filter series, which gives supporters the opportunity to enjoy the moments which have led to a second successive Champions League final.

The redemption for Kyiv started when Liverpool was pitted against Paris Saint-Germain, Napoli and Red Star Belgrade—a draw some coined the Group of Death.

And while the Reds made hard work of it at times, most notably on foreign soil, it was a six-game run memorably bookended by Roberto Firmino’s late winner against PSG, and Alisson’s superb save against Napoli to secure Liverpool’s passage to the round of 16.

Bayern Munich and the Allianz Arena were next on the agenda, where Sadio Mane’s stunning effort can be relived in all its glory as Allez, Allez, Allez rings out from the travelling Kop.

A relatively straightforward quarter-final tie against Porto is then given minimal airtime as the main course lays in wait.

The heavyweight clash with Barcelona takes up over half of the 24-minute video as the ebbs and flows of emotions from both legs takes centre stage.

But it is the return leg at Anfield which any Red would not mind rewatching over and over again.

And thankfully the cameras were on hand from all corners of the ground to capture what was in all likelihood Anfield’s greatest-ever night.

From the team bus navigating its way through thick red smoke, a defiant rendition of You’ll Never Walk Alone and four unanswered goals which sent Anfield into pure pandemonium.

It proves to be a spine-tingling 24 minutes which is a must watch for any Red.

Let’s hope the next instalment of the series in the days following June 1 provides just as many moments to savour.
