Liverpool produced a night for the ages as they ran riot against Barcelona, scoring four without reply to reach the final and launch celebrations to remember.

The final whistle on Tuesday night gave rise to the most ear-shattering of roars, as fans exploded into pandemonium.

From three goals down against Barcelona in the Champions League semi-finals, Liverpool ran out 4-0 winners against all odds—and the post-game party started immediately.

Anfield had been noise-filled and energetic all night long, but even the post-game celebrations after games such as Olympiacos and Chelsea perhaps paled against the backdrop of raw pride emitted here.

All four stands, all 55,000 fans—well, near enough all of them—were in fantastic voice at the final whistle as the scale of Liverpool’s comeback win was laid clear.

While the players, coaching staff and even injured individuals all convened on the pitch, the togetherness and spirit of the club was clear to see.

The celebrations also included a superb show of affinity with the fans from Trent Alexander-Arnold, as the right-back embarked on a lap of honour of Anfield.

Liverpool’s Champions League adventure continues and the Reds are in the final for the second year running; now they get to wait and watch and see whether it will be Ajax or Tottenham who stand between them and Europen Cup No. 6.
