Champions League last-16: Draw info and who Liverpool can face

11 December 2019

A professional 2-0 win at Salzburg on Tuesday night means Liverpool won Group E and will be seeded for the last-16 Champions League draw next week.

Jurgen Klopp‘s side won four, drew one and lost one in the group stages, progressing ahead of Napoli with 13 points to the Italians’ 12.

The Reds go into the knockout stages having never lost a two-leg European tie under Klopp’s management at Anfield.

Here’s all you need to know…

When’s the draw?

Next Monday (December 16) at 11am (GMT). Live on BT Sport (UK).

Who can Liverpool face?

Atalanta
Atletico Madrid

Who else is in the draw?

The other seeded teams are Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Man City, PSG, Valencia and RB Leipzig.

That first leg arrives the week after Liverpool’s Premier League ‘winter break,’ while the home leg will either be before or after the Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.
