Liverpool have been dealt a major blow ahead of the forthcoming new season with the news that left-back Fabio Aurelio has suffered a bad injury which reports say could sideline him until the end of the year.
Aurelio suffered damage to his knee whilst playing football with his family in Brazil and has been ruled out of the Reds’ opening Premier League games.
The news could also mean manager Rafa Benitez abandons his plans to sell unsettled Italian defender Andrea Dossena, who has been linked with a move to Juventus this summer.
