Promising young goalkeeper signed from MK Dons in 2006, currently acting as Liverpool’s third choice goalkeeper behind Pepe Reina and Diego Cavalieri.

He has impressed for the reserves and has represented England at Under 20, 19 and 17 levels.

Martin was an unused sub against Reading in the Carling Cup in October 2006. He is yet to make his full LFC debut.

Martin will spend the season 2008/09 on loan at League One side Leicester City.
