This Is Anfield attempts not to use photographs from official media and press agencies due to the fact several companies are now actively suing websites who use photos without purchasing a licence. It has been common for websites such as ourselves to use images from the internet without realising the consequences.

In early 2009 we were sued for a decent amount by one photo agency and therefore we no longer use press photos. So if you spot a ‘dead’ image here and there, we apologise. It also means the quality of our images aren’t the best.

However, you can be assured to know all our images are now provided by ourselves, captured from television footage or from fellow Liverpool fans.
