A Liverpool XI will play Lincoln City in the days leading up to the start of the new Premiership campaign, as a final preparation for a season filled will so much expectation.
The Reds will play Lincoln at their Sincil Bank stadium in a pre-season friendly as part of the deal that took young defender Jack Hobbs to Anfield last year.
The match will take place on August 16th and it is expected that Hobbs will play along with others from Liverpool’s triumphant FA Youth Cup 2005/06 winning team.
Liverpool have been given an allocation of around 2,700 tickets for the game. Details can be found on the club’s official website.
