Dirk Kuyt is expected to officially become a Liverpool player within 24 hours after a fee believed to be in the region of 10 million pounds was agreed between Liverpool and his current club Feyernord.
The 26 year old Dutch striker has been a long term target for manager Rafa Benitez and looks like being the final arrival at Anfield this summer, joining Jermaine Pennant and Craig Bellamy in enforcing the managers attacking options.
Kuyt could be in the squad for this Saturday’s Premiership opener at Bramhall Lane.
