A little later than anticipated, we take a look back at 2006 with the numerical look on all things LFC…
The amount of money won by one lucky Liverpool fan who had a preminition that Xabi Alonso would score from inside his own half. He bet on it and the Spaniard did it against Luton back in January 2006 in the FA Cup third round. He went on to do it again in September, at Anfield against Newcastle!

The squad numbers assigned to the returning Robbie Fowler. The Liverpool legend returned in January and was given the number 11 which was then occupied by Djibril Cisse, but his loan move to Marseille opened up the number 9 shirt for God to retake in the summer.

The number of goals The Reds put past Birmingham during the amazing run to the FA Cup Final. Sami Hyypia started the rout, Peter Crouch added two, John Arne Riise got a screamer, Olivier Tebily put through his own net and even Djibril Cisse and Fernando Morientes got one each!
