Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard has made the bench for tonight’s Champions League second round clash away to Real Madrid.
The midfielder has recovered from the hamstring injury which has seen him miss the last three weeks of football, but Reds boss Rafa Benitez is not taking any chances and he doesn’t start.
