Friday’s News: The offensive Rafa gesture!

Today’s LFC related ‘news’ is dominated by two main stories.

The first being the (non) story that Mr. Ferguson has, again, decided to attempt to have a go at Rafa by backing up the tactical genius that is Sam Allardyce over some allegedly insulting gesture Benitez made following Torres’ second against Blackburn last week.

This is the supposed offensive and arrogant ‘gesture’:

Scary stuff eh! Ferguson really is cracking up and will take any opportunity to have a pop at Rafa now. As for Allardyce, he’s not even worth discussing.

Paul Tomkins writes a nice piece on it all, telling the two of them to grow up. Read it here.

The second is the story regarding Charles Itandje – yes, still officially an LFC player after personal demands denied us the opportunity of offloading the freeloader last summer – and his antics during the Hillsborough Memorial Service. It was picked up by a few of us in the forums and now the national and local media report it has been noted by the club and will see his departure gaurunteed this summer. Forum discussion here.

Also being discussed in the forums is Jimmy McGovern’s Hillsborough documentary, the Fields of Anfield Road single and build up to next week’s crucial match against Arsenal.

No action for Liverpool this weekend with FA Cup Semi-finals instead on the agenda. C’mon you Blues?
