Javier Mascherano is named amongst Liverpool’s substitutes for this evening’s pre-season friendly against Rapid Vienna in Austria.
The Argentine international midfielder has been linked with a big money move to Barcelona all summer, but returned to training with the squad in Switzerland on Friday.
The Reds’ Spanish contingent, who were given extra leave for international duty in the FIFA Confederations Cup, are all at the stadium but won’t take part in the action.
