Liverpool’s title is bigger than Chelsea’s – Johnson

Glen Johnson says winning the Premier League title with Liverpool would be bigger than his achievement with Chelsea.

Johnson helped the Blues to consecutive title triumphs in 2005 and 2006 before joining Portsmouth.

After completing his £17.5million move to Anfield this summer, the league title is back at the top of the England international defender’s agenda.

He says, “I would love to be part of the team that helped Liverpool become champions again,” Johnson said.

“I won the league with Chelsea and it’s a fantastic feeling, but to do it here would mean even more because the club has been so long without it.

“Everyone remembers the scenes when Liverpool won the Champions League in 2005. I imagine any title celebrations would be even bigger.”
