Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole looks set to return to West London to join Queens Park Rangers on loan for the 2011/12 season.
Cole has struggled with injury and fitness since joining the Reds on a free transfer from Chelsea last summer.
Despite a renewed attempt at catching manager Kenny Dalglish’s eye during this summer’s pre-season preparations, the 29-year-old now looks set to join Neil Warnock’s men at Loftus Road.
It is understood Cole is currently in talks with the London club after Liverpool agreed to let the former England international go on loan to the newly promoted side, in a bid to reduce the club’s wage bill.
Meanwhile Milan Jovanovic, who also signed for Liverpool on a free transfer last summer, has agreed personal terms over a permanent move to Belgian side Anderlecht.
