Dalglish: No players will be arriving or leaving Liverpool

Kenny Dalglish has moved to quash any talk of flamboyant arrivals in the final stages of the January transfer window.

The Liverpool boss said “There’ll be nothing happening here in the transfer window, in or out.”

“There’s no need to ask any questions about transfers or speculation or anything else.”

Instead, The King is busy preparing his players for the Premier League match at Wolves tomorrow night, happy with his squad having just reached their first domestic Cup final since 2006.

It’s a stark contrast to the huge drama of 12 months ago, when Fernando Torres left for Chelsea, and Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez arrived from Newcastle and Ajax respectively.

Are Kenny’s comments genuine, or a smokescreen for a last minute arrival?
